Whitney was my second home bred Champion under the Montrejeau prefix (Montrejeau was co-owned with Jacqui McLeay - Kirada Poodles). Whitney was a multiple Group winner and also was the top winning Standard Poodle bitch in 1995 ( Poodle Club of South Australia Point Score ) Qualifier for Battle of the Champions 1995 and Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Show at the South Australian Canine Association Autumn Festival that same year . She retired from the show ring early at the age of 3 years due to a leg injury . She was one of 13 puppies and at birth weighed only 4 ozs ! so she was hand reared . She was our dearest friend and most faithful and loving companion and it was the saddest day of our lives when we lost her to cancer on May 6th 2006 at 12 years of age .
